INITIAL BRIEF:
Build a 5.8m space motorbike as an interactive photo opportunity for client’s annual convention in Austin Texas.
KEY FEATURES:
Model was designed so that all component pieces could be built in the UK and then airfreighted (smaller crates) to Austin Texas.
To create a model with enough structural integrity for attendees to climb on whilst still giving the illusion of the model “floating” above its hover plates.
For complete immersion and interactivity, integrated bespoke software allowed attendees to "fire" the guns and rev the engines.
SECONDARY BRIEF:
Remove Dragonfly from storage, repair any damage from 4 years in storage and repaint (in a car park in LA) in a new colour scheme for the clients annual convention.
SECONDARY FEATURES:
Repainted the model in "Pyro" paint theme which matched the in-game product launched at the event.
Model was once again used as a photo-op for social media at the clients annual convention, where visitors could ride the Dragonfly.
